Reverse Falls is a  cool concept on paper but I’ve never been a fan of how the AU is portrayed in mainstream, highkey because of the gross sexualization of 12 year olds (ESPECIALLY Mabel), and lowkey because the characterization just never seemed right to me

Like, cmon, are you really telling me that Mabel, as evil as her reverse counterpart may be, WOULDN’T wear the poofiest dresses that she could? If anything, I think she’d wear nothing BUT poofy dresses, as opposed to that leotard and short skirt that people are always drawing her in

yknow i know the dipper/wendy subplot could get annoying back in season 1 but (apart from it being resolved really well in season 2) looking back im just glad that dip had an unatainnable crush on someone who was actually really cool and nice to him instead of some stereotypical meangirl who he only liked because she was pretty and popular

Guys. Guys, the more I think about it, the more excited I am for Journal 3. A canonical almost 300 page book, from the POV of Ford himself. We will actually get to see his thoughts written out. Character depth and introspection here we come.
